"Private Practice Therapist" has been a heartfelt dream of mine since the first day I began my Master’s program. But before becoming a clinical social worker, I had a short stint as an event planner in New York City. While it was fun, creative, and fast-paced, I quickly realized I wanted to help people in a more meaningful, lasting way— not just plan beautiful moments, but walk alongside them through the messy, transformative ones too.
After a year of job hopping and the help of many exploratory sessions with my own therapist— I landed on Social Work. My journey in therapy began when I was 15 years old and in my early 20's I realized I wanted to return the compassion and support that was given to me when I was experiencing the darkest time in my life.
I don’t just talk about healing— I’ve lived it. Some of my own lived experiences include navigating grief, family of origin wounds, body dysmorphia, disordered eating, anxiety and depression symptoms, interpersonal trauma, and pregnancy loss. These parts of my story help me show up with deep empathy, realness, and a no-pressure, judgment-free space where you get to be fully you.
These days, I get to hold space for people as they reconnect with who they are, make sense of where they’ve been, and move forward with clarity and courage. It’s a joy and an honor to walk alongside my clients in the process.
